GEORGIA GOUROS

Studio Director

As an educator and studio Director, Georgia's strength lies in being able to manage a large studio and team of teachers and ensure all classes deliver personalised and quality tuition. Georgia believes that everyone can work to their personal best and mentors both her students and staff to achieve this.

Dedicated to keeping up to date with the latest techniques, knowledge and trends in the dance world, Georgia attended the USA Dance Teachers Summit in 2016, The USA Pulse Dance Convention in 2017 and the Nex-Us Dance Convention 2019. This has created a positive rebound effect with many new philosophies, teaching styles and techniques being introduced into the studio.

Georgia is trained in all styles of dance (ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, character) as well as drama and trained predominantly at the Ann McDonald College of Dance (now known as the McDonald College) and Bodenweiser Dance Centre (with Margaret Chapple). She has 38 years experience in teaching dance and coaching students to an elite level and looks forward to many more years of inspiring passion and nurturing talent in her students.

Georgia holds an Associate Diploma (Cecchetti Ballet), a Cert IV in Dance Teaching, a Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, a Bachelor of Arts (BA), a Bachelor of Education (BEd), is a member of Cecchetti Ballet, a member of Australian Dance Vision (ADV) and a member of Australian Teachers of Dance (ATOD).
